Oban High School

Oban High School is a six year non denominational school situated on a single site near the centre of Oban serving the town itself, surrounding villages and the scattered rural and island communities of North Argyll. In this vast geographic catchment area there are 21 associated primary schools varying in size from large town primaries to small rural schools.

Parent Forum

The Parent Council are a team of parents who volunteer their time to represent parental perspectives and help a school to constantly improve. The representatives are selected at an open annual meeting and then act as a committee for the rest of the year, meeting 3-4 times as the full committee with (if existing) sub-groups such as fundraising and events teams meeting potentially more frequently.

Lochdonhead Primary School

Lochdonhead Primary School is a co-educational school, situated at the head all of a sea loch and enjoying superb views from every aspect. Accommodation provides two classrooms, staff room, office, kitchen/dining room and entrance hall. The beautiful outdoor environment is used regularly by the school for learning and teaching including our beach school. Lochdonhead Primary School has a welcoming and friendly ethos, the result of close co-operation of the staff, very supportive Parent Councils and a close involvement of pupils, parents and the wider community.
