Health and Social Care

The charity has been founded in Scotland to become the first of its kind dedicated to the development and use of sports reminiscence, inclusive physical activities and intergenerational activities to support isolated older people across the country.

Help Health and Wellbeing

In order for our young people to hold down a job or sustain a tenancy, they need to feel good about themselves both physically and mentally, and that’s exactly what our activity programme aims to achieve.

Health and wellbeing

Kintyre Seasports develop marine sports to provide enjoyment and participation opportunities for all in a safe environment. They give local young people vocational opportunities by training them as instructors to international standards. Three community projects are presently funded, organised and run. In addition, they plan to fund, build and operate a new community facility on the shores of Campbeltown Loch.

Healthy Living

ACT works in partnership with communities, public agencies, third sector and private organisations to design and implement projects that make a difference to people and landscapes. A diverse and exciting range of topics is covered, including conservation, climate change, tourism, education and health and wellbeing, that all contribute to achieving its vision of a coastal and countryside environment that is valued and enjoyed by everyone.ACT’s objectives include: To give people opportunities to experience, learn in and be inspired by nature.
To increase opportunities for employment, skills development and volunteering in our environment.
