Àite na Cloinne, KidSpace, is an interactive area within the Rockfield Centre themed around Oban’s heritage where children and families can go to play and discover. The play space offers various levels of playing and learning.

Pre and Post Natal Support
The bump to birth fund has been running for 7 years and truly makes a huge difference. It provides financial assistance to women on Islay and Jura who are awaiting the birth of their baby on the mainland.
It subsidises every woman on Islay and Jura to have a post natal physio check up.
It paid a proportion of the cost for every pre and post natal woman on Islay an Jura to attend Pilates classes at a reduced cost with KMac Physiotherapy.
It paid for a local midwife to be trained in baby massage, and pay for the venue hire for baby massage classes.
It created and replenish Emergency Baby Boxes that are kept at Glasgow Airport (Gate 1) and at Kennacraig. These contain emergency supplies such as nappies, baby clothes, maternity toiletries etc for emergency situations when travel is unexpectedly cancelled or delayed.
It gives every expectant mother on islay and Jura a gift bag with baby and mother product samples and vouchers.
It’s purchased various items for the local midwife community such as water birthing pools, fit for purpose emergency bags and more.
It organised baby and child first aid which was delivered by a local GP.
Baby & Toddler Group
Cardross baby & toddler’s is a group of mums, dads, grandparents, uncles, aunties, carers and kinship carers who meet in Cardross Church halls weekly. Everyone welcome for arts & crafts, free play, snack & a coffee. Contact group for details.
