Our objectives are to educate the public, the preservation, restoration and enhancement of objects of local interest and promoting a wider appreciation of the heritage and history of the area. If you care about the future of the area, want to know more about how it came to be as it is, would like to assist in looking after its heritage, or contribute to thinking about how to ensure that local people understand the significance of their heritage, then this is the society for you. There is an annual lecture series, usually on the last Wednesday of the month during Sept, Oct, Nov, Jan, Feb and March. This is held in the Helensburgh and Lomond Civic Centre on East Clyde Street and non-members are welcome.
