Community Enterprise

From tentative beginnings in the local pub in 1998 Here We Are has weathered the intervening years, accumulating a myriad of different projects, to become a community enterprise with seven employees. This includes a Centre for locals and visitors which houses a Post Office, Community Initiatives such as a path for cyclists and walkers and a bio-mass woodchip CIC."Come On In" is a new pilot project to allow carers to have a break, safe in the knowledge that their loved one is cared for by a volunteer. These volunteers will also visit people living on their own and feeling isolated.
