Service Details

The Museum learning team provides interactive activities across a broad range of curriculum areas to enable a greater understanding of Argyll’s place within the wider world. Activities include artefact handling, costumes, crafts and traditional skills such as pottery. It also offers guided site visits of the Kilmartin Glen monuments, Rock Art Carvings of Achnabreac Forest Park and the deserted settlements of Arichonan and Kilmory Oib. Outdoors, natural history, including pond dipping, nature trails and transect, invertebrate and vegetation surveys, is explored.
