On route to Port Ellen Marina you will sail through the spectacular South East Skerries and see the protected seal colony basking on the craggy rocks and promontories before approaching Carraig Fhada lighthouse standing sentinel on the Oa peninsula. The pontoons lie at the heart of Port Ellen village protected by a sheltered horse-shoe bay. The shops, restaurants and other amenities are within walking distance, as are three of the eight island distilleries.
