Toward Primary School is on the Cowal Peninsula, seven miles south west of Dunoon, situated by the shore and surrounded by farm land commanding superb views over the Firth of Clyde towards Bute and the hills of Arran and beyond. The school's catchment area stretches from the village of Toward right up the east side of Loch Striven.
